THE MANCINO’s

Chris and Rebekah met 3.5 years ago in Lowville pretty miraculously, considering they were born on opposite sides of the globe, and have been married for 2.5 years. In their first months of marriage, while preparing to walk into what they felt the Lord calling them to, Chris was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. This completely shattered what they expected the beginning of their marriage to look like. As difficult as it was, this time also taught them more about the grace, goodness, and faithfulness of God than any other time. Today, they are beyond thankful to say that Chris is in full remission and although he continues with treatments, their lives are the closest to normal they’ve been in a while! Chris and Rebekah are passionate about proclaiming how trustworthy Jesus is and “building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God…” (Ephesians 4:12-13)
